The death of George Floyd was a human game changer in the fight for justice and a catalyst for men and women police officers crossing the thin blue line. The oath taken by police officers to serve and protect and uphold the law is sacred to the vest by most yet devalued by a few. As equality and justice remain front and center of citizen and police brutality interactions; law enforcement officers must stand up for what is right according to the law and their sworn oath taken to stop the stigma that all law enforcement officers are bad and corrupt. This is not true. Police officers should continue to say something when they see something.

Meet Rita La Terese

As a former Police Officer and Criminal Investigator, I understand the police culture, the application of criminal laws and the importance of impartiality within the criminal justice system.
